Wonder Bait 02

But it had all been a big, elaborate lie. They were waiting for her, and as she crept through the darkened warehouse the trap was sprung. A heavy net fell from the ceiling and landed on her, staggering her and tangling her up. From nowhere a female Abwehr agent tackled her. Then another sprang upon her, and another. Tangled as she was in the net she was easy for the helferin to pin down. One of the "grey mice" produced a rag soaked with chloroform and pressed it over her face. Wonder Girl struggled valiantly, but after a minute or two of fruitless writhing she descended into darkness.
